• In compliance with technical specifications, disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, reassemble, and test diesel engines, parts, and mechanical equipment.
• Help supervisors and senior mechanics diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
• Use machinery, tools, and measurement devices (such as dial gages and torque wrenches) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere to engineering drawings and manuals when performing mechanical fitting, alignment, and adjustment tasks.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment safe, orderly, and clean.
• Assist with project work at client locations, such as boarding ships or working in shipyards as needed.
• When conducting workshop and site operations, adhere to all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to all local statutory safety regulations and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
• Attend toolbox talks and safety briefings, and follow risk assessments.
• Notify the supervisor right away of any risks, dangerous behavior, near misses, or incidents.
• Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant experience in industrial, marine, offshore, or diesel engine mechanical repair or servicing.
• The capacity and willingness to travel for work-related tasks, such as working in shipyards or boarding ships.
